DeltaAI
Description
DeltaAI is a resource that targets the computational needs of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) workloads. Designed from the ground up to meet the demands of the AI/ML research community, DeltaAI became operational in fall 2024.
Base Amount of Resources Accessible at No Cost
Allocations for less than 11,250 H100 hours (roughly 22,500 equivalent A100 hours) should be submitted as Explore or Discover level requests via the ACCESS program. You can find more information about submitting a DeltaAI request via ACCESS at: https://allocations.access-ci.org/project-types.
Please note that for Explore and Discover level allocations, half of the resources are awarded initially, while the remaining resources are awarded by request after successfully using the initial resources. If you would like assistance preparing your ACCESS request, please request consulting support through Illinois Computes.
Larger requests for DeltaAI (over 11,250 H100 hours) by Illinois researchers should be submitted via the Illinois Computes request form with justification provided for the resource need. Requests will also be considered in cases where a researcher is not eligible for an ACCESS allocation or was denied an allocation for some reason.
